Here are two pictures of the outfield wall from the old Forbes Field in Pittsburgh, PA. Notice that one of the walls says 457 feet. That was the distance from home plate to the deepest part of center field. No park in baseball today has a wall that far from home plate. I guess it was a different game back then.
